Mutual Aid Crews Dispatched to Assist With Wildfire Damage

Seven crews from several electric cooperatives were dispatched to assist Northwestern Electric Cooperative, based in Woodward, Oklahoma, with damage incurred from wildfires. The following crews were dispatched on Friday, April 13, 2018:

Cimarron Electric (Kingfisher, Okla.): 5-man crew
TCEC (Hooker, Okla): 2, 5-man crews
CKenergy (Binger, Okla.): 5-man crew
Canadian Valley (Seminole, Okla.): 6-man crew
Verdigris Valley (Collinsville, Okla.): 5-man crew
Indian Electric (Cleveland, Okla.): 5-man crew

Additional crews to be dispatched on Saturday, April 14, 2018 to assist Northwestern Electric:
Kay Electric (Blackwell, Okla.): 7-man crew
Oklahoma Electric (Norman, Okla.): 6-man crew
Alfalfa Electric (Cherokee, Okla.): 5-man crew

Infrastructure and system damage have been incurred to Northwestern Electric Cooperative, Northfork Electric Cooperative in Sayre, Oklahoma and generation and transmission cooperative, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, headquartered in Anadarko, Oklahoma.
