Onsite Observation Team Training will be a way to enhance our ability at OAEC to conduct a more efficient review of cooperative’s safety culture. All employees from all departments are welcome to participate in this training. By adding department specific employees to the team, the Onsite Observation Team will accomplish a more knowledgeable approach to the Rural Electric Safety Achievement Program (RESAP). This training will benefit employees in leadership development, networking opportunities, understanding of other cooperatives, and most of all, help create a culture of safety amongst employees. In this training, employees will learn about how the RESAP process works and why cooperatives participate in the program.
Guests will park in our main parking lot – we will be sure the two main rows are open and available for everyone coming in. The training will be held upstairs in the board room.
Upon arrival, guests will check in at the front desk, we have a computer for signing in and guests will take a visitor’s badge and use the assigned number to check in. The computer will ask for the KAMO employee’s name, so everyone will enter “Ken Macken” when filling out the form.
Lunch will be served in the kitchen and café area downstairs. We will have donuts and coffee in the board room early that morning.
