Essential Skills/Climbing School

In order to receive a Certificate of Completion, all students are required to attend all classes and field exercises, as well as pass a written exam and competency tests on pole-top rescues.

Registration is limited to the first 15 registered.

Lunch will be provided Monday through Thursday.

Classes will not be postponed due to inclement weather so be sure to bring rain gear.

Students should bring the following: HAND OUT THIS LIST TO YOUR ATTENDING EMPLOYEES

Students must have a complete set of climbing tools in proper working condition; before climbing, tools will be inspected by the instructor.

Hard Hat

Safety Glasses

Long-Sleeve Shirts (required when climbing)

Work Gloves

Rubber Gloves

Handline (½ inch minimum)

Suitable Boots for Climbing

Hammer Screwdriver (flathead)

Kliens/Pliers

2 Adjustable Wrenches

Wooden folding Ruler

And most important: POSITIVE ATTITUDE
