Lineworkers Recognized at Oklahoma State Capitol
Co-op lineworkers join counterparts from other electric utilities on National Lineworker Appreciation Day
Lineworkers representing Oklahoma’s electric cooperatives, OG&E, PSO, the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority and GRDA were recognized at the Oklahoma State Capitol on April 17 in appreciation of their reliable and devoted efforts to power Oklahoma’s communities.
Senator Grant Green and Representative Mike Dobrinski drafted a resolution “praising linemen from Oklahoma’s electric providers and celebrating their work to power homes and businesses across the state.” The resolution recognizes April 18, 2025 as National Thank a Lineworker Day and National Lineworker Appreciation Day.
More than 50 lineworkers were recognized at the State Capitol representing various Oklahoma electric utility providers. Lineworkers had the opportunity to visit with legislators for their respective districts during the event. Cooperative lineworkers in attendance:
